their 2011 Silver Award in the top category, Best Bean-to-Bar chocolate bar at
the London England based Academy of Chocolate.
The Academy of Chocolate
has recognized Olivia Chocolat 76% Dark among the finest chocolate available in
the world. Olivia Chocolat 76% was
judged by over 30 of England’s
accomplished chocolate professionals to be world class by its overall taste profile
and mouth feel characteristics.
The Golden Bean Award is presented annually to rank fine
chocolate entries from around the world including well known chocolate making
countries such as England,
Italy, France,
Belgium, USA
and now Canada.

The Academy of Chocolate
Awards have become an important event in the world
chocolate calendar. The Academy received over
400 entries from all over the world for 2011 and entry numbers have been
growing each year. The judging took over 2 days with 30 judges who included
some of the England’s
leading food journalists and Michelin starred chefs that tasted and scored the
entries.
The Academy of Chocolate
was set up by Britain’s
leading chocolate professionals, united in the belief to campaign for better
chocolate and to promote a greater awareness of the difference between fine
chocolate and mass-produced chocolate confectionery. Its aims are to encourage chocolate lovers to
‘look beyond the label’, to differentiate between confectionary chocolate and
‘real’ chocolate by taste and taste experience.
They also strive to improve standards and knowledge of chocolate by
promoting an understanding of the ingredients through the supply chain and to encourage
the transparent sourcing of cocoa in a socially fair and environmentally
undamaging way.

Our new raw chocolate bar collection is made from non-roasted, Grand Cru, Criollo / Trinitario cocoa available in 92% Maple Raw, Raw 86% and Raw 76% in 50g and 2x50g sizes.
Our Raw Olivia Chocolat has a surprisingly softer taste that is immediately apparent and is very smooth. Raw has even less
bitterness at high percent cocoa without adding more sugar. We
recommend the 86% Raw Olivia Chocolat for people that normally buy our
76% Olivia or our competitors 66% cocoa solids.
